CELTIC will close part the part of their stadium that houses ultras group the Green Brigade for this weekend's Scottish Cup encounter with Raith Rovers, according to reports.
Smoke bombs and flares were let off by some supporters in the standing section during last week's 3-0 win over Rangers, and an offensive banner (aimed at their rivals) was unfurled that Celtic chiefs have since condemned.
The Daily Record are reporting that the corner section of Parkhead that usually houses the Green Brigade will be closed for Sunday's cup tie with Raith, and supporters will be offered new seats elsewhere in the ground.
The Record add that the Glasgow club have been facing pressure from the police and council authorities, who granted the club permission to install a safe standing section on the basis that it would be constantly reviewed.
