CARL STARFELT has provided Celtic fans with an injury update after being stretchered off for Sweden on international duty.
The central defender was handed a start in the Nations League fixture against Slovenia earlier this week but was stretchered off into additional time.
The defender appeared to suffer a hamstring knock and was withdrawn before half-time with his side one goal to the good.
Updating fans on Instagram, he said: "Happy to have made my competition debut for Sweden.
"Unfortunately it ended with an injury keeping me away from upcoming internationals.
"Time to recover, see you next season."
Sweden boss Andersson took time in his press duties to mention Starfelt and his centre-back scenario after the injury.
Janne Andersson explained: "It is a problematic situation. He is a very important part of the team.
"Even he does not have experience, you want a centre back you are used to."
