CELTIC have been dealt a fresh injury blow, according to a report.
It's been said that Carl Starfelt faces another period on the sidelines.
The Swedish defender only just recently returned to the fold following a lengthy spell out with injury.
Now, according to the Scottish Sun, the 27-year-old faces up to another month out of action.
There is some good news in that Starfelt does not need surgery on the knee injury, which he suffered against Rangers last weekend.
However, he will certainly miss the Champions League clash with Shakhtar Donetsk and next week's trip to St Mirren, should that game go ahead.
With an international break at the end of the month, Starfelt will now be unavailable for Sweden's games against Serbia and Slovenia.
Celtic host Motherwell on October 1 before a game against RB Leipzig a few days later.
Loan star Motitz Jenz will now have the chance to establish himself as the defensive partner to Cameron Carter-Vickers.
