There is no beef between Matt O'Riley and Ange Postecoglou.
The Celtic player insists any grumbling between the pair has been blown way out of proportion.
The Danish under-21 international insists he's learned more under the Australian manager than any other boss in his career so far.
And the attacking midfielder now says he's ready to kick on more under the guidance of Brendan Rodgers.
O'Riley had suggested upon Rodgers' arrival after, Postecoglou left for Tottenham, that there was a freshness around Lennoxtown. He stated that the new boss wouldn't mind sitting with his players for lunch.
It was well-known that Postecoglou was the type of manager to keep his players on their toes and distance himself from them away from the training pitch, whereas Rodgers' style is a bit different.
And while this kicked up a bit of a fuss on social media, O'Riley insists there were no malicious intentions behind his words.
The playmaker said: “I don’t think I said anything bad about the previous manager! It was maybe blown out of proportion a little bit. It’s just different managerial styles.
“Under the previous manager I got so much better as a player. So I can’t say I didn’t like him at all because he’s the one I have learned most from in my career. I am very grateful to have been able to work with him.

“In terms of their styles, yeah, it’s very different. I don’t think there is any right or wrong way. Brendan had previous success here but Ange showed when he was here he had major success and obviously got himself a really good move from it. For me to have different styles to work with early in my career will help me.”
