Celtic have reportedly been sent a transfer ultimatum by Lecce over Gustaf Lagerbielke.
The Serie A club have been credited with a strong interest in the Swedish centre-back during the January transfer window.
However, a proposed loan deal to Italy stalled due to an injury concern over Cameron Carter-Vickers at Parkhead.
Lecce are reportedly still interested in Lagerbielke but could move on to alternative targets should Celtic wish to keep hold of the 23-year-old.
The Scottish Sun claim Lecce have demanded an answer on Lagerbielke's transfer availability from Celtic on Wednesday.
Should Lagerbielke stay at Celtic then Lecce could move interest elsewhere in the final hours of the transfer window.

The Sweden international - signed from Elfsborg for £3m in the summer - has played just nine time for Celtic this season.
His last appearance for the club came as a cameo against St Mirren on January 2, his last league showing before then was way back in September.
Lagerbielke has gone public with his desire to join Lecce, he told Tuttomarcatoweb: “Lecce has shown a very strong interest in me. I want to go, play and make a difference.
"All footballers dream of playing in the big leagues. And I have dreamed of Serie A since I was a child.
"Many Scandinavian footballers have played in Lecce, this would be an advantage in terms of settling in."
