Celtic winger Luis Palma has been the subject of discussion following Sunday's 5-2 Scottish League Cup victory over Falkirk. Now, a social media post from the 24-year-old appears to address the conversation.
During a dramatic afternoon at Celtic Park on Sunday, visitors Falkirk fired themselves in front twice, first opening the scoring before then heading into the break 2-1 in front.
Having made eight changes to the starting XI that triumphed in Europe days earlier, Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers introduced Nicolas Kuhn early in the second period – who then assisted twice for Adam Idah in the space of two minutes, before scoring two goals of his own inside three in the final stretch.
Palma was subbed off around the hour mark, and a middling performance has since seen criticism levied at the player.

Which, translated, reads: "RESILIENCE. That’s why you’re going to get ahead in life, because despite any adversity, you find the positive side and you start working forward."
Despite a positive start under Brendan Rodgers last season, Palma has struggled for game time this campaign.
What lies ahead for the Honduran remains to be seen, however the manager has stressed a desire to rely on the wider squad this year – especially when the fixture schedule gets busier in the coming weeks and months.
