RB Leipzig suffered a double blow ahead of their Champions League clash with Celtic after key defender Castello Lukeba was ruled out and they lost their unbeaten Bundesliga record.
And boss Marco Rose accused his own players of lacking courage in their tame 2-1 defeat.
The German side suffered a surprise loss to an injury-ravaged Borussia Dortmund at the weekend for their first setback in nine games this term.
And they will be without important defender Lukeba, with the French international suffering from a thigh injury.
Rose said: "He picked up a thigh injury in training and we don't want to take any risks or else we are talking about five or six weeks out.
"I therefore don't think it's very likely that he will play against Celtic."
And he was not happy with his players' performances ahead of a trip to Glasgow.

He said: "We weren't good. In many respects, Dortmund were better and played more physically. They were better with the ball and made better decisions.
"We came here with a good feeling. We could have made a statement win, but in such big games, we sometimes lack the courage and the qualities. We have to learn from this."
And RB Leipzig veteran keeper Peter Gulacsi, who made his return to action, accepted they were well below their best against Dortmund.
He admitted: "We were very sloppy with the ball. We knew that we couldn't let that happen against Dortmund. We lost the ball too often.
"After winning possession, we always lost the ball again straight away, and that killed us."
