Brendan Rodgers has suggested that he's none the wiser to the rumours in the Spanish media surrounding on-loan Celtic defender Alex Valle.
Valle, 20, has impressed since arriving at the Scottish Premiership giants from Barcelona over the summer. He's made nine appearances so far - including starring in the UEFA Champions League.
A report by El Nacional on Tuesday had indicated that his parent club were working on cancelling the season-long loan deal in January, even though it would mean forking out compensation.
Yet, asked if it was a situation that he was aware of, the Celtic manager indicated to Sky Sports that the story was very much news to him.
"Not that I'm aware of, no," he revealed. "Nobody has told me any different.
"I suppose we are getting close to the stage where rumours and gossip, and everything kicks in leading into January.
"But I know that Alex has really enjoyed his time here, and both on and off the pitch, he's obviously a very important player for us. So, we wouldn't want to lose him.
"I think the experience that he's getting here both in the Champions League and domestic football, he's really enjoying his time here."
