Brentford have reportedly outlined their intentions ahead of the January transfer window.

And it's good news for Celtic fans.

This week, reports emerged down south that both the Bees and Fulham have asked the Scottish Premiership champions about on-form winger Nicolas Kuhn.

The German attacker, 24, already has 21 goal contributions in just 17 games so far this season.

He arrived in Glasgow less than 12 months ago in a £3m move from Rapid Wien.

Such as his prolific form in front of goal, has naturally attracted interest from wealthier clubs in better leagues, such as Brentford and Fulham.

But with Kuhn under contract until 2029, Brendan Rodgers is under no pressure to sell his star man.

Any potential deal would need to be in line with the £25m Brighton forked out for Matt O'Riley during the summer.

However, as per a report in The Standard, it would seem that Brentford's interest has cooled in terms of making a swoop in January.

While they have indeed scouted Kuhn, Brentford have no plans to step up their interest during the winter window.

Thomas Frank's side are performing above expectations in the Premier League so far this season, currently sitting 11th thanks to the firepower provided by Bryan Mbeumo and Yoane Wissa.
