Josh Brownhill has emerged as a potential transfer target for Celtic.
Reports claim the Burnley midfielder, 28, has been "tentatively" discussed as an option for the January window.
67HailHail states that a "handful of names" have been drawn up on a shortlist at Parkhead ahead of the transfer window reopening in the new year.
And it's thought Brownhill is amongst the possible candidates for a January transfer move - even if no final decisions on targets have yet been made.
The central midfielder - capable of playing in more holding or attacking roles - is under contract with the Championship club until June 2025.
Brownhill's contract situation means he would be free to discuss a free transfer move in January should Burnley not wish to sell him while under terms.
The Englishman has played in every match for Burnley this season and has captained the side throughout, scoring five times in 16 outings.

Former Burnley boss Vincent Kompany had branded Brownhill as a "very important" player for the club as he batted off transfer speculation earlier this year.
He said: “We have a player here that is under contract who has been very important for us, so rumours…we’re used to rumours.”
However, it's claimed interest remains high in Brownhill with interested suitors in Italy and Saudi Arabia too.
The midfielder was a regular for Burnley in the Premier League last season as well having established himself as a key player after a £9m move from Bristol City.
Brownhill played for Manchester United as a youngster before moving on to Preston North End and then spending a period on loan at Barnsley.
