Greek goal machine Christos Tzolis insists his Club Brugge side are '100 per cent ready' to face Celtic after his incredible four-goal haul.

The Belgian side had the best possible preparation for their UEFA Champions League trip to Glasgow on Wednesday when they annihilated Sint-Truidense in a 7-0 hammering.

Brugge's 22-year-old Greek international dangerman Tzolis grabbed four goals in a game for the first time in his career and immediately turned his attention to facing Celtic.

He said: "We are 100% ready for Celtic. We have the right mindset for it. We have to be ready for a difficult match, but we just have to play our own game. We have already shown the qualities we have at that level.

"I believe we have just played our best match of the season so we are full of confidence.

"It is the first time in my professional career that I managed to score four times. I am very happy about that. I also appreciate that I was allowed to take the penalty too."

Brugge skipper Hans Vanaken admitted he is relishing the prospect of playing in the Champions League in Glasgow.

The Belgian international said: "We are all looking forward to playing at Celtic. It will be a great occasion and we are in a very good place ahead of it.

"After we lost our last game at Beerschot, this was the perfect response. What was pleasing was that we kept looking for more goals.

"We are all delighted for Christos Tzolis. We know his qualities and how good he is. Everything went right for him. Hopefully, he can do this again in Scotland."
