Celtic fans were sanguine as they trooped out of Parkhead last night, knowing their beloved side have the beating of Midtjylland in what will still be a tough second leg next week.
A goal from new boy Liel Abada put smiles on the faces of the 9000 inside the ground with an opener on his debut.
The 19-year-old looked dangerous from the off with a performance of pace and poise that bodes well for the future.
The big talking points were Nir Bitton’s silly sending off for a second yellow card after he poked his finger into an opponent’s face and Vasilis Barkas’ culpability at Evander’s equaliser.
The Greek keeper has had a tumultuous time in Glasgow and he won’t want to see the footage of the goal again any time soon.
It’s safe to say the fans are getting frustrated over the £5m signing and when he might come good on the promise that saw such a big transfer fee shelled out.
